Jeff: Hey, Doug, how´s it going?
Doug: Great! So, what have you been up to?
Jeff: Uh, same old, same old, but I guess I do have some news.
Doug: Do you?
Jeff: Yeah, guess who I ran into at the mall the other day?
Doug:I don’t have a clue.
Jeff:Ok, take a guess.
Doug:Well, I won’t take any wild guesses so give me some clues.
Jeff: Right, he’s someone we used to have a lot of fun with back in high school.
Doug:Wow, back in high school? It´s been a long while, uh? Let me think,uhmm, was he on our basketball team?
Jeff:Yes, he was. Well, it should be a no-brainer now you have this information.
Doug: Todd Anderson? You ran into Todd Anderson?
Jeff:That’s right. I knew you would figure it out pretty easily.
Doug: Gosh! I haven´t seen him in a long time. What’s he been up to these days?
Jeff: A lot of things, I guess. He spent some time in Europe and got engaged to a German woman, can you believe this?
Doug: No kidding? Gee, what was he doing in Europe?
Jeff: The company he works for has some branch offices there and they have this exchange program, whereby employees can choose to work overseas for some time.
Doug: Nice, it must´ve been an exciting experience. What else? Does he look any different?
Jeff: He does a little. Thinner than he used to be and he´s grown a moustache too.
Doug: Really?
Jeff: Yeah, I took a selfie of us, here, let me show you.
Doug: Oh, he does look slim. So, did you guys talk a lot?
Jeff: Uh, not really. He was actually in a hurry, he had to pick up his fiancée somewhere, but I gave him my cell phone number and he said he´d call me sometime soon, so we can all arrange to meet for dinner. He said he wants to introduce his German fiancée to us.
Doug: Great idea. Well, I´m looking forward to meeting them!
